Robert Half is looking to staff a Payroll Manager with our well-respected client! This Payroll Manager will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies, and will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department. This may be the role for you if you are a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven.Your responsibilities in this role- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records- Manage payroll tax audits and liaise with auditors- Help create systems that process payroll account transactions, like salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions- Organize payroll systems and timekeeping- Work with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams- Supervise system upgrades and the processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises)- Comply with relevant laws and internal policies- Manage and train payroll clerks and assistants
